  • How did the district get the name - "PORTA"?

    While our schools are all located in Petersburg, our district's service area is broader.  The name PORTA was formed alphabetically from the leading letters for the names of local communities Petersburg, Oakford, Rock Creek, Tallula, and Atterberry.
